Expert Panel Meeting May 2011

The latest meeting of the Combustion & Industry Expert Panel took place on 2 May 2011 from 14:00 to 17:00 in Stockholm, Sweden. The main focus of this meeting was to discuss revised chapters of the Guidebook and to present new emission guidance materials to the members of the Expert Panel. Workshop Emission Inventories for Solvent Use (February 2010)

As part of the TFEIP workplan regarding the Combustion & Industry sectors, one of the key priorities for improving emission inventories in general and the EMEP/EEA Guidebook in particular is the collaboration with industrial stakeholders. For this purpose, the Expert Panel organized a workshop to discuss emission inventories for NMVOC emissions from the use of solvents. This workshop took place in Utrecht, The Netherlands, on 17 February 2010. The meeting was attended by 30 experts, with people from the inventory community as well as representatives from the industry (European Solvents Industry Group).
